Online Student Advisor

The Minnesota Learning Coalition has 3 Online Student Advisors to assist you in reaching your online educational goals. Each one specializes in specific online programs and can be reached toll free 1-800-456-8519.

Online Advising Can:

  • Provide you with program or degree requirements
  • Answer general academic advising questions, such as “How many hours each week should I set aside to prepare for online coursework?”
  • Provide information about registering for classes
  • Give information about college resources including helpdesk information
  • Give information about general policies and procedures at the college
  • Explain how to apply to an online program

Online Advising Cannot:

  • Provide personal counseling
  • Take a message for your instructors
